WRP presents The Chip at Fringe!

White Rabbit is proud to present our first original play at this year’s Winnipeg Fringe (July 14-26)!

Created by a talented team of writers and actors, The Chip examines a world where nothing is secret and nothing is sacred …. and you can see it in just three short weeks!

Visit the Chip Event Page for more information on this great, thought-provoking show starring WRP faves Shawn Kowalke, Chelsea Rankin and Murray Farnell!

Moving out of the Neighbours-hood

Regrettably, the writers of Neighbours have terminated White Rabbit’s involvement in this very special project.

While we felt our company was the perfect fit to develop and ultimately bring the unique and inspiring work to fruition, we will not be doing any further work on the show we still hold near and dear to our hearts.

Curveballs like this are commonplace for small theatre groups and, while we would be remised to say we are not upset, we knew something like this was bound to happen as we progress into a larger, more established theatre company.

We are disappointed by this surprising turn of events, but are excited by the fact that we now have the opportunity to develop other interests and projects we were keeping on the backburner throughout the two years we spent developing Neighbours.

We wish the project the best of luck and look forward to bringing you – our supportive community – an incredible new project in the fall!

Stay tuned for details!

First post from the Artistic Director of WRP

Congrats Ryan and thank you for getting this new website out for us.  I have no idea what is going to happen to this stuff I’m typing, but I sure am excited.  I read your post and really appreciate your words.  I second everything you wrote about.

A new look!

Welcome to the latest incarnation of WRP’s online stage!

We decided it was time to create a new and more interactive home on the web for the rabbit to live in.  Expect to see the revival and improvement of our extensive archive section, a full listing of bios and photos of performers past, as well as other fun ideas such as WRP awards and all sorts of crazy statistics.

We plan to use this new online presence to do more than merely spread the word of the rabbit, we intend www.whiterabbitproductions.ca to become a hub for the community of artists that we have come to love and admire.  Thank you everyone for your hard work and patronage over the years, we hope you enjoy this next step in WRP’s evolution!
